Three Biblical Portraits of Adam and Eve

Alice Linsley will offer a Women’s Retreat on the subject “Three Biblical Portraits of Adam and Eve.” Her previous retreat on the Book of Ruth was very well received in the Parish, and I highly recommend her teaching. I think you will find it a spiritually profitable experience.

This retreat will be on Saturday, October 29. The schedule is:

Coffee and fellowship starting at 9:00 am.

Session I: Three Portraits of Adam will begin at 9:30. There will be opportunity for groups of 2-3 to discuss these questions:

Question: In what ways do we as Christians overcome estrangement from God?

Question: In what ways do we celebrate God’s answer to sin and death?

Catered lunch from 12:30 to 1:30.

Session 2: Three Portraits of Eve will begin after lunch, and will end at 3:30 pm.

There will be a sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall on Sunday, just to get an approximate head count for the lunch.. You can also reach out to the Parish office to let us know you are coming. Feel free to invite friends and relatives. If you decide at the last minute to join us, please do! There is always ample food for attendees.
